Faculty:
James Stavosky, DPM, FACFAOM, is a podiatrist practicing in Daly City, CA, and a nationally recognized expert and speaker on Wound Care.
He is a former Department Chair and Professor at
CCPM and is now an
Adjunct Professor of CSPM. He is a Certified Wound Care Specialist and
a Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association.
He is the Podiatric Wound Specialist at San Francisco Center for
Advanced Wound Care and the Chief of Podiatric Surgery at Seton Medical
Center.
Michael DellaCorte, DPM, FACFAOM,
is a practicing podiatrist from Maspeth, NY He is certified by both
ABPS and ABPOPPM and serves as Chairman of the Department of Podiatry
at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in NYC where he also serves as Director for PMS 24 and 36 residency programs.
Dr. DellaCorte also
serves as Director for the Center's Wound Care Fellowship program. Dr.
DellaCorte is nationally recognized for his expertise in the use of
ESWT (extracorporal shock wave therapy) as a noninvasive treatment for
plantar fasciitis.
Rosemay Michel, DPM, FACFAOM,
is a practicing podiatrist in Fayetteville, NC and formerly a member of
the faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San
Antonio where she instructed residents and students. Dr. Michel has
demonstrated expertise in the diabetic foot, vascular disease, wound
care.
She has also served as an international lecturer on the diabetic foot
and vascular disease in a number of countries. She is certified by both
the ABPS and ABPOPPM.
Michael Warshaw, DPM, FACFAOM,
is a practicing podiatrist in Warren, OH, and a certified coder with
over 25 years of successful coding, management, and training experience
for podiatric practices.
His national and local views come from active participation as a
practicing podiatrist, having the distinction of being a certified
podiatric coding specialist, and years of serving as a national
lecturer concerning coding issues. He has the additional advantage of
being an” Expert Witness” in all facets of the Medicare
Appeal Process, having participated in “Fair Hearings,”
“Administrative Law Judge Hearings,” and the actual court
system.
