Membership
in ACFAOM is for podiatrists who have a special interest in and
commitment to primary podiatric medicine and orthopedics. Fellowship is
conferred upon those who are Board certified by ABPOPPM. 

The
American College of Foot & Ankle Orthopedics & Medicine
has a program to encourage podiatric medical students to form ACFAOM "clubs" to emphasize
the importance of orthopedics and medicine in the contemporary
practice of podiatry.
